No account, no analytics, no tracking. Not on this site, not in the app.
The website
- Founding list. If you join, we store your email address, the time you joined, which button you used, the tag of the link that brought you if it had one (such as
?ref=reddit), and your country as a two-letter code. Your browser keeps that tag only until you close the tab. We don't store your IP address or browser. We only use your email to tell you when Lineup Pro launches. - Buying Lineup Pro. Stripe runs checkout and sells Lineup Pro as merchant of record, through its Link service. Stripe collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy; we never see your card. Before checkout, you give our licence service your email. We send it to Stripe to create your billing customer. Stripe returns customer and checkout IDs and the payment IDs we need to match refunds and disputes. Our licence service on Cloudflare stores these records with your licence and sends the licence email. We use your email to send your licence and to help you with it, and keep paid purchase records for as long as your licence exists. We clear your email and its hash from expired checkout attempts. An uncertain attempt keeps them until we reconcile whether Stripe created a checkout. Email support@caiano.com to see or delete them. Deleting them ends the licence; we keep only the payment records that refunds, disputes and the law require.
- Bot check. When you point at or press a Buy Lineup Pro button, the page loads Cloudflare Turnstile from
challenges.cloudflare.comto check that a person, not a bot, is buying. Cloudflare reads signals from your browser to do that, under its privacy policy. - Nothing else. No cookies, no analytics, no ad or social scripts, no fonts or scripts from other sites. The one exception is Turnstile, and only once you point at or press a Buy Lineup Pro button.
- Hosting. Cloudflare serves the site, the downloads and update checks. Like any web host, it handles your IP address to deliver them. We keep no request logs of our own.
The Mac app
- Your settings stay on your Mac. Layouts, shortcuts and tool settings are saved in a file on your Mac and never sent anywhere.
- Calendar stays on your Mac. If you turn on Today’s events in World Clock, Lineup reads today’s events from your Mac’s calendars to show them. It never changes them and never sends them anywhere.
- Text Capture runs on your Mac. Recognized text goes to your clipboard and is never uploaded.
- Update checks. Lineup checks
lineup.caiano.comfor new versions. The request carries the app version and nothing about you, and Lineup asks before installing anything. - Licence checks, later. When you activate Lineup Pro, the app will check your licence with
license.caiano.com. We'll say here exactly what it sends before that ships.
Leaving the list
Enter the email you joined with and we'll delete it from the founding list. Every email we send will also have a way to leave.
Who is responsible
Henrique Caiano, Portugal, is the data controller for the founding list, Lineup Pro licences and this site. Stripe is responsible for the payment details it collects.
