Lineup 2.3.0
Lineup now has twelve tools and introduces Lineup Pro. Add only the tools you want in
Settings. Other tools wait in More Tools.
New tools
- Text Capture: select a screen region to copy its text. It can also read QR codes, and you can choose the recognition languages.
- Display Control: brightness for each display from the menu bar, and contrast in Settings. One step below the lowest brightness turns the screen black.
- Keyboard Remap: remap physical keys for each keyboard.
- Menu Bar: hide the menu bar icons you choose behind one arrow (macOS 27).
- Cleanup: review the storage your Mac can safely free, then clean with recovery.
- Speed Test: run network tests on demand, with history for each network.
Improvements
- Zones: fixed window shortcuts, gaps between windows, resizable layouts and window suggestions. Snapped windows resize when the gaps change. You can see and forget remembered windows in Settings. Snap previews look like macOS tiling.
- Scroll: reverse the mouse and the trackpad separately.
- Hyperkey: an optional Escape when you tap Caps Lock alone.
- Keep Awake: sessions with no time limit, and a global shortcut.
- A new first-launch setup helps you pick tools and grant only the access they need.
- Report a problem from the app, with the app details you choose to send.
- Secondary options in Settings open in a sheet.
Lineup Pro
World Clock, Keep Awake, Scroll and Speed Test stay free, as do Zones halves and quick
shortcuts, and basic Cleanup. Custom Zones layouts, Cycler, Hyperkey, Keyboard Remap,
Display Control, Text Capture, Menu Bar and full Cleanup are part of Lineup Pro. Try
them free for 14 days, with no account or card.
If you installed Lineup before Pro launched, you are an Early Supporter: every tool,
on every version, at no cost. Thank you.
